"Howling Fossils" is a massive and cavernous drone made of layers of processed guitars, with a hint of rawer guitar noise in the middle. The only sounds used in this track come from 2 guitar improvisations recorded in january 2007 (one of them is available as Howling Fossils (Demixed) on TGBTS 1st mp3 album : Ekstatik Trauma). The final mix (using only audacity and its built-in effects) has been made in summer 2007. favoritefavoritefavoritefavoritefavorite ( 1 reviews ) Topics: ambient noise, dark ambient, drone, experimental, guitar-based ambient
Unlike previous TGBTS' albums that were rather various, this one contains only dark ambient / ambient noise, in a deliberately monotonous and minimalist vein - but still made with only guitar (and bass on last track) sounds. Warning : These are lo-fi recordings, they weren't designed at all for headphones listening. favoritefavoritefavoritefavoritefavorite ( 1 reviews ) Topics: dark ambient, guitar-based ambient, experimental, lo-fi

The only sound source used by TGBTS is guitar (often prepared and processed by some software treatments) to create dissonant experimental tunes and foggy dark soundscapes. Tracks available here were selected and compiled in end of april 2007, from various lo-fi recordings made between december2006 and april 2007 after a 9 years break in musical activities. TGBTS' 2nd album, Forgetting The Shore is more achieved and more ambient oriented. Topics: ambient, dark ambient, experimental, guitar-based ambient, industrial, lo-fi, prepared guitar,...
